Installing this cluster in most BMW's is very easy. The cluster will start up as soon as you turn on the vehicle. You will be welcomed with a cool startup animation. When it's fully activated it works just like your old cluster but way more modern and with the possibilities to have more functionality and adapt the look to your preference. This product does not need any coding but we need to have the last 7 digits of your VIN to check on software version for your vehicle. Updating with future features is simply done with a USB stick.
