If your car has a Logic 7 system or the factory car radio plug has a fiber optic input WITHOUT 8 speaker wires as shown on the right ,you need this decoder box for installation.

If your factory car radio plug has 8 speaker wires as shown on the right, then you do NOT need this decoder box.
