PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
We started from the ground up with our design, starting by ditching all plastic bits, replacing the end tanks, core, and inlet/outlet ports with a durable aluminum TIG-welded for maximum durability. We also opted to utilize strutted tubes within our heat exchanger core to add even more strength, ensuring an added resistance against bowing and flexing under hard cornering.
There's more to our design than strength as well. In addition to our durability features, we also expanded our heat exchanger's size, adding 31% in core volume and 48% to the external fin surface area. Combined with our dual-pass flow configuration and louvered fin design, we were able to record a 5-7°F drop in intake air temperatures, along with a more consistent global intercooler coolant temperature.
The Mishimoto Performance Heat Exchanger for the 2020+ Toyota GR Supra is available in a natural finish and includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty for a worry-free installation.

The GR Supra is a showoff. This is not news. No one is going out to buy one of Toyota's most revered sports cars because they're looking for something sensible. Nope, they're looking for a shouty straight-six, all wrapped in a sleek, low-riding 2-seater body. They're likely looking to turn the A90 into their next mod-machine as well. If you've been following our R&D, you'll already know that our new heat exchanger design, on paper, is also quite the showoff. If you don't already know that aspect, make sure to head back to our last post, which outlines the new design features.
What we want to know now is, sure, our heat exchanger can talk the talk, but can it walk the walk? To find out, we arranged a torture test that allows us to record the air-to-water intercooler system's
