Important Notes on Compatibility:
1. This unit ONLY works with the original BMW NBT system. A NBT system car radio usually comes with a 6-pin LVDS port, a “MEDIA" button on the iDrive controller or a touch pad idrive controller. Note: A "Car ConnectedDrive" interface does not guarantee that you have the NBT system.
2. Please see XTRONS QLB22CIB12X3 if your vehicle comes with a CIC system.

3. If your car comes with NO audio AUX input, you will need a FM transmitter to aid the installation. (XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 and CA/ITR/FM03 are compatible.) Connect the XTRONS unit to your car's AUX input for audio functionality. Ensure AUX is enabled to enjoy the full audio experience with our head unit.
